Tumisho Michael Manabile is a passionate and dedicated law enforcement professional who believes in the power of education to combat economic crimes such as extortion. He defines extortion as the unlawful and intentional act of gaining an unfair advantage by pressuring individuals into compliance, often through tactics like blackmail, protection rackets, cyber threats, and financial coercion. Tumisho highlights the seriousness of this crime, noting its severe legal consequences, including imprisonment, fines, and victim compensation. His mission is to raise public awareness, promote preventative measures, and encourage responsible reporting. Currently, he serves as a Public Order Police Constable with the South African Police Service in Pretoria, where he manages crowd control operations, security coordination at major events, crime prevention duties and stabilisation of serious & violent crimes. Previously, he worked as a Police Constable at Soshanguve Police Station. Tumisho’s law enforcement journey began in 2022 at the SAPS Academy in Kimberley, where he completed his basic training.
